Webinar: New Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness Overview
Presented on February 1, 2023
Since 2016, homelessness has been rising and for the new strategic plan to be as effective and intentional as possible, it required input from people who are part of the response to homelessness, people who have a vested interest in ending homelessness, and people with lived expertise.
At our 2021 Homes within Reach Conference, Joe Savage, Senior Regional Advisor from the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) collected feedback from Pennsylvania providers and people with lived expertise. USICH has turned this feedback into a roadmap for the federal government and communities across America and now Joe is back to review that roadmap with us. This webinar will cover key themes and common solutions heard from people all across the United States.
Speakers:
- Moderator: Gale Schwartz, Associate Director, Policy & Programs, Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania
- Joe Savage, Senior Regional Advisor, United States Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH)
