HUD’s Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) platform allows owners of public housing to convert to HUD’s Section 8 program. This webinar will discuss the advantages of various types of RAD transactions used to put properties on a more stable financial footing while protecting resident rights. The webinar will also discuss how a RAD conversion can be part of a larger strategy to rehabilitate and recapitalize aging public housing stock, or to replace such units 1-for-1 with well-designed new construction.
