Ask Governor Wolf to Extend the Eviction Moratorium

On Friday, July 10, the moratorium on evictions in Pennsylvania will expire.  However, most people are still not back to work, and new federal and state resources have only just become available. That’s why we are asking Governor Wolf to extend the moratorium on evictions for non-payment of rent at least until the Fall. We need to give more time for people to receive available aid, get back to work, and to stay safe in their homes.
Here are some points to include in your email:
  • Thank you for putting an eviction moratorium in place until July 10. Your action protected tens of thousands of Pennsylvanians by allowing them to stay safe at home.
  • People are still not back to work and new federal and state resources have only just become available. Pennsylvanians need more time to stay at home.
  •  Please extend the eviction moratorium to ensure that people can stay at home and stay safe in the coming months.
