SOAR (SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery): Another Piece to the Puzzle for Ending Homelessness

Join the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as they discuss how SOAR (SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery) is used to increase access to the disability income benefit programs administered by the Social Security Administration (SSA) for eligible adults who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness and have a severe and persistent mental illness, medical impairment, and/or a co-occurring substance use disorder. Learn the advantages of using SOAR and how to become SOAR-trained.
