Housing Spotlight: The Shrinking Supply of Affordable Housing

Housing Spotlight, produced by the National Low Income Housing Coalition, is a Supply and Demand study using Community Survey Data from 2010 that shows the number of affordable and available units by state.

For example, the report states that in Pennsylvania there are 36 affordable and available units per 100 Extremely Low Income households and 68 affordable and available units per 100 Very Low Income households. Also, 72% of Extremely Low Income households face severe cost burdens, along with 28% of Very Low Income households.
